Edmonson County Judge/Executive Ronald Scott Lindsey, or "Scott" as most know him, was sworn into office in January of 2023.
Born and raised in Edmonson County, Scott has always had deep community roots.
"Raised in the small close-knit community of Lindseyville, KY, I understand the challenges and opportunities that our county faces," Scott says. "Whether it's infrastructure improvements, economic development initiatives, or keeping our proud history alive, I always pray that our decisions reflect a dedication to the well-being of Edmonson County and its people."
Scott credits his community spirit from the teachings of his parents, Ronnie and Penny Lindsey, who were always eager to help others.

While some reflect on the things we don’t have, we prefer to be thankful for the things that we do have: Some of the greatest people in the world, pride in our community, a desire to help our fellow man, an aspiration to make our community the absolute best that it can be, and creating and nurturing a better life for our citizens and their families.
